If you need to update your card, you might have to delete it then add it again. Using Fanbox to add my card to use there works, but nothing works when I try through Booth. Tl dr I've had this problem since the beginning of 2019. (I'm also blocked from adding/editing cards from Fanbox.) Waiting to get an email back, but don't have any hope of this fully getting solved. When I tried to edit and save my card info while inside Booth, they 'blocked the access due to the detection of unauthorized payment'. I couldn't update or add the new card to use for Fanbox until I found a link in the FAQs that allowed me to delete my old card and add the updated one (why the hell do they hide this?).īut when I tried using the new card on Booth, it just took me back to the selection of payment options instead of giving me an error message like before.

I talked to my bank and the transactions aren't reaching them in the first place, as someone else pointed out. Rakuten Pay did not work for Booth, probably because I was using the same card.

And I still have no problems with other sites like Fantia and DLsite. However, I could use the same card just fine with Fanbox (so opposite of OP). I was able to use my card just fine for Booth until January/February 2019. Pretty much just corroborating other stories here and also adding in the shenanigans I tried to fix the problem.
